Gale Russell Pruett

Gale Russell Pruett, 73, of Wappapello passed away April 15, 2021 at his home.

Mr. Pruett was born October 23, 1947 in Dexter, Mo to the late William and Rosa (Walker) Pruett.

Gale was raised and lived in Bloomfield and Dexter area most of his life.  He then retired from truck driving to Wappapello.  Gale enjoyed hunting, fishing and yard work.

February 10,1989 he was united in marriage to Kathy (Yarbrough) Pruett.  She survives.  Also surviving are son, Russell Pruett, daughter, Robin Rushin and husband Adam, 4 grandchildren, sisters, Vicki Griffin, Freda Mott and husband Chuck.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Gary Griffin.

Due to the state's COVID restrictions at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, there will be a military honors service and inurnment at a later date.
