Frona Geneva Pruitt, 91, of Poplar Bluff died Sunday, March 11, 2007 at the Mark Twain Caring Center, in Poplar Bluff.
Mrs. Pruitt was born Nov. 26, 1915, in Swinton. She was a member of Cornerstone Tabernacle, in Poplar Bluff and had retired as an inspector for the Elders Garment Factory after 20 years of service. Mrs. Pruitt enjoyed working in her yard, planting flowers and gardening.
Survivors include three children, Dwain Pruitt, of Florissant, and Vivian Moore and Carson Pruitt, both of Poplar Bluff; 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Cleta Rickert and Wyona Snider, both of Poplar Bluff; and two brothers, Dale Tolbert, of Puxico and Meffort Tolbert, of O'Fallon.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Cornerstone Tabernacle, off of Hwy. 67 North, in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. in the church sanctuary with the Rev. Bryan Parkey officiating. Burial will be at the Oak Ridge Cemetery, in Stoddard County.
