Fredrick James Minchew

Fredrick James Minchew, Jr., 62, of Poplar Bluff, died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2007 at his residence.

Mr. Minchew was born Oct. 2, 1945, in Victorville, Calif. He was baptized in the Catholic faith, and was a self-employed contractor. Mr. Minchew enjoyed hunting and cooking. He was also an avid craftsman and enjoyed wood-working.

Survivors include daughters, Cherie Bullock and husband Shannon and Bobby Doser and husband Darin, all of Qulin; five grandchildren, Monica Cherie Bullock, Jacob Tyler Bullock, Marah Leigh Bullock, Darian Delaney Doser and Wyatt Fredrick Doser; and sisters, Rebecca Jacobs and Lorraine Minchew, both of Canyon Lake, Calif.

His parents, Fredrick James Minchew Sr. and Monica Mae LaPointe Minchew, sister, Janice Johnson, and brothers, Chuck Minchew, Richard Minchew and Joe Minchew preceded him in death.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
