Fred Dunn

John Fredrick ""Fred"" Dunn, 85, of Poplar Bluff died Saturday, Nov. 24, 2007 at Westwood Hills Healthcare Center, in Poplar Bluff.
Mr. Dunn was born Aug. 25, 1922, in Pomona, Mo., to the late Jacob Morris and Emma Agnes (Webb) Dunn. He was a member of the Highland Church of Christ, and had retired as a building contractor. Mr. Dunn was a veteran of the United States Navy, having served during World War II. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, playing baseball and bowling.
On Feb. 15 1942, he was married to Ruby B. Rhodes, in West Plains, Mo. She survives.
Other survivors include daughter, Debra Boehmer and husband John, of Poplar Bluff; sons, Dennis Dunn and wife Bonny, of Keller, Tex. and Kenneth Dunn, and wife Donna, of Liberty, Mo.; grandchildren Darla Iniguez and husband Joe, Dace Dunn, Andrew Dunn, Kelly Dunn, Chelsea Dunn, Christian Dunn, Amanda Obarski and husband Craig and Joey Boehmer; great-grandchildren, Austin Dunn, Hannah Dunn, Taylor Iniguez, Hunter Iniguez, Parker Iniguez and Jake Boehmer; sister, Kitty Lee Britton, of Poplar Bluff; and brother, Wayne Dennis Dunn, of Schenectady, New York.
Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Monday at Highland Church of Christ. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Highland church of Christ with Mr. Vernon Curry officiating. Burial will be at the City Cemetery, in Poplar Bluff.
