Francis Richard Miller

Francis Richard Miller, 93, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away Friday, December 11, 2020 at his home.

Francis was born on March 13, 1927 to Waldo Parks Miller and Allie Lyberger in Wayne City, MO. He married Esther L. Miller on April 10, 1953, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Francis was a member of the Poplar Bluff Church of Nazarene. He served as a member of the U.S. Army. Francis enjoyed tinkering and looking at antique cars and tractors. In his younger years he liked to garden and spend time outdoors.

Francis is survived by one daughter Sally (Mike) Kennedy of Poplar Bluff, MO; one son, Steven (Christy) Miller of Marshall, IL; one brother, Gordon Miller of Arnold, MO; eight grandchildren, Christina Spencer (Frank), Tiffany Baucom (Jason), Candace Chapple, Bradley Miller, Kyerra Heuerman (Daniel), Jamie Miller, Allie Miller, & Ben Miller; seven great-grandchildren, Taylor, Emily, & Hannah Spencer, Kelsey, Owen, & MaKenna Baucom, and Ian Heuerman.

Francis was preceded by his wife, parents, and sister, Helen Steinberger.

A public graveside committal service with full Military Honors will be held Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Poplar Bluff, with officiating by Rev. Greg Gilberto.
