Flora Mae (Daily) Tilley

Flora Mae Tilley, 87, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away  Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at Westfield Nursing Center, in Sikeston, MO.

Flora, the daughter of Henry Herbert and Doye Louise Nettles Daily, was born July 17, 1933 in Doniphan, MO.  She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and was a homemaker.  Flora was in her element while researching records for genealogy.  She also enjoyed being outdoors and gardening.

She was married to Floyd Tilley.  He preceded her in death.

Survivors include three children, Donald G. Tilley of Poplar Bluff, Lisa J. Risinger of Springfield, MO and Vicki Lynn (Ron) Lolley of Prairieville, LA; 11 grandchildren, Christy (Peter) Nieft and Mark (Rae) Tilley of Poplar Bluff, Josh (Katelyn) Risinger of California and Sara (Dustin) Dovido of Springfield, Shannon (Todd) Peterson, Megan Whitmer, Chandra (Josh) Wingerter, Cherie (Kenny) Carr and Philip Lolley of Prairieville, LA, Susan Davis and Michael Davis of Kennett, MO and Katherine Erkens of South Carolina; 31 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her husband Flora was also preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Randall Dewayne Tilley and Ronald Dean Tilley, a granddaughter Brandi Woodling, four brothers, Elvee Daily, Wilbur Daily, Leon Daily and Vernon Daily, and two sisters, Stella Chezem and Dean Higginbotham.

A brief viewing will be from 10:00 to 10:30 am Thursday, July 30 at Cotrell Funeral Chapel. A graveside service will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Butler County.
