Evelyn Marie (Rhames) Bailey

Evelyn Marie (Rhames) Bailey, 76, died Saturday, June 25, 2022, at home in Poplar Bluff.

She was born September 02, 1945, to William and Mary Rhames in Florence, South Carolina. Evelyn married Robert Bailey on November 06, 1988, in Doniphan, Missouri.

Evelyn raised five children who loved her dearly. She loved gardening and woodworking. Evelyn also had a passion for sewing and crocheting, leaving behind many treasures for her loved ones. Among her children, she passed on the love of cooking, gardening, canning and football. Evelyn was a member of First Christian Church in Poplar Bluff, Mo.

She is survived by her five children, Ginger Quade of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Vincent Fann (Leslie) of Maryville, Mo., Eric Fann (Kim) of Turlock, Ca., Monique Mariona (Oscar) of Fredericksburg, Va., and Roman Griego (Jennifer) of Montgomery City, Mo.; 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; one sister, Nancy Timmons of Poplar Bluff, Mo.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Bailey; brother, William Rhames; and sister, Angeline Rhames

Memorial services will be held at the First Christian Church, 1601 N. Main St., Poplar Bluff, on Thursday, July 07, 2022, at 7:00pm with Pastor Frank officiating.
