Elsie Reba Wallis, 77, of Poplar Bluff, died Friday, Oct. 19, 2007 at the Cedargate Care Center, in Poplar Bluff.
Mrs. Wallis was born Aug. 20, 1930, in Kennett. She was raised in the Catholic faith, and was a homemaker. She was a member of the American Legion #153. Mrs. Wallis enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, reading, cooking, working crossword puzzles and animals especially her two dogs.
On July 23, 1946, she was married to Fred William Wallis. He preceded her in death on March 15, 1994.
Survivors include daughters, Sheila Smith and Sandy Nicolini and husband Bobby, all of Poplar Bluff; 10 grandchildren, Gabriel Nicolini, Nicholas Nicolini, Sarah Viverette and husband Jamison, Caleb McGhee, Moriah McGhee, John Zunino, Mark Zunino, Angie Zunino, Michelle Wallis and Stephanie Boyd; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Opal Mullins, of Senath and Margaret Cannady, of Corning, Ark.; and brothers, Richard Benson, Bobby Benson and Michael Benson, all of Kennett.
Her parents, Harry and Elsie (Damron) Benson, daughters, Patricia McGhee and Freda Boyd; great-granddaughter, Breanna Adams and five sisters also preceded Mrs. Wallis in death.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Woodlawn Cemetery, in Poplar Bluff.
Cotrell Funeral Service, of Poplar Bluff is in charge of the arrangements.
