Ellen "Lorene" (Withrow) Conder

Ellen "Lorene" Conder, 89, of Poplar Bluff, MO, peacefully went to be with her Heavenly Father, Saturday, February 18, 2023, surrounded by her family.

Lorene was born on May 18, 1933, to Clyde and Addie (Asher) Withrow in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. She married Marion Thomas Conder on August 16, 1984, also in Poplar Bluff.

Lorene grew up in Poplar Bluff. She was of the Baptist faith and attended church at Bethel Chapel when she was able. She was a previous member of White Oak Baptist Church in Glen Allen, Missouri. Lorene was a homemaker for most of her life, living a simple life on the farm. She loved to garden, sing in church, and go fishing. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family.

Lorene is survived two daughters, Pamela (Nathan) Fox and Donna (David) Crowley; one son, Doug Ward; one brother, Ron Withrow; four grandchildren, Nathan (Melinda) Fox, James (Jessica) Fox, Samantha (Chris) Henthorne, and Dillon Crowley; five great-grandchildren, Mayrissa (Josh) Baker, Matthew (Megan) Fox, Jonathan Fox, Jathan Fox, and Jared Fox.

Lorene was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Tom Conder; three sons, Gary Wright, Stanley Wright, and Lester Story Jr.; grandson, Bradley Ward; six brothers and four sisters.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, from 10:00- 11:00am at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services. Funeral service will follow beginning at 11:00am with Bishop Ronnie Webb. Burial will take place at Hamtown Cemetery in Butler County.
