Earl J. Robinson, 90, of Poplar Bluff, died Sunday, June 10, 2007 at the Oakdale Care Center, in Poplar Bluff.
Mr. Robinson was born May 9, 1917, in Kennett. He was of the Baptist faith and a veteran of the United States Army Air Force. Retired from Mingo Job Corp as a Union Painting Instructor, Mr. Robinson was also a lifetime member of the International Union of Painter's and Applied Trades. He enjoyed spending time with his family and having coffee with his friends at McDonalds, in Wal-Mart. Mr. Robinson was also an automobile enthusiast.
On Nov. 8, 1943, he married Norma L. Brown, in Dexter. She preceded him in death on Sept 8, 2001.
Survivors include two sons, Randy E. Robinson, of Poplar Bluff and Rob D. Robinson, of Mooresville, N.C.; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, in Poplar Bluff. A graveside service will follow at 12 noon at the City Cemetery, in Poplar Bluff with the Rev. Jim Schremp officiating.
