Ronald Earl Moore, 57, of Rombauer, died Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2007 at his residence.

Mr. Moore, son of the late Clyde and Cynthia (Marlette) Moore, was born Jan. 19, 1950, in Broseley and graduated from Fisk Rombauer School, in 1967. He was a member of the Cornerstone Tabernacle Pentecostal Church, in Poplar Bluff, and had retired after 24 years as a Transportation Supervisor with the Twin Rivers School System. Mr. Moore enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and hunting and fishing. He also coached baseball for 20 years and raced stock cars for 38 years.

On Oct. 18, 1969, he married Mary Sue Bond, in Broseley. She survives.

Other survivors include three sons, Ron Moore and wife Elisa, of Puxico, Doug Moore and wife Crystal, of Dexter and Robby Moore and wife Brandi, of Broseley; seven grandchildren, Cheyenne, Skyler, Mindy Taylor, Moriah, Riley and Jackson; three sisters, Lillie Campbell, Nettie Conner and husband Junior and Velma Conner and husband Martin; and two brothers, Bob Moore and Milburn Moore, all of Broseley.

Visitation will be from 5:30 p.m. - 8 p.m. Friday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Chapel, with the Rev. Brian Parkey officiating and the Rev. Bobby Moore assisting. Burial will be at the Rombauer Cemetery.
