Duard Elvis Mattingly

Duard Elvis Mattingly, 98, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away on July 01, 2023, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
Duard was born on July 30, 1924, to Guy and Nancy Ford Mattingly in Matthews, Missouri.  He married Mary Jane (Frazier) on July 7, 1953, in Poplar Bluff, MO.
Duard loved playing the guitar, singing, and telling stories of his life, entertaining his family and friends was one of his favorite past time. Spending time with his kids and grand-kids was what he loved doing most.
Duard served in the Army during World War II.
Duard is survived by 2 sons, David (Connie) and Roger (Heather), 7 grandkids, 11 great grand kids, and several nieces and nephews.
Duard was preceded in death by his parents; Guy and Nancy, his wife; Mary Jane Mattingly, his siblings; Don and Zelpha.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2023, from 10:00-11:00 am with funeral services immediately following at 11:00am at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services in Poplar Bluff, MO. Burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery with Pastor Vernon Curry   officiating with full military honors.
