Doyle Wayne Frazier

Doyle Wayne Frazier, 73, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away Monday, March 14, 2022, at his home.

Doyle was born on July 30, 1948, to Dalton and Lucille (Bailey) Frazier in Rector, Arkansas. He married Jewel Pennington in 1970, in Qulin, Missouri.

Doyle was of the Christian faith. He was known for his sense of humor. He liked to pick up cans to occupy his time. Doyle liked to watch western shows, such as Gunsmoke. According to his daughter, you could always tell when he was having a good day because his ornery side would come out and he would crack wise remarks.

Doyle is survived by his wife, Jewel; two daughters, Teresa Withem of Poplar Bluff and Christina Hood of Nevada, Missouri; three sisters, Carolyn, Betty, and Helen; two brothers, Melvin, and Vernon; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Doyle was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Scotty Frazier; three sisters, Glenda, Maggie, and Mattie Sue; three brothers, Dale, Ray, and Sherman; one grandson, Scotty "Duckie" Frazier Jr.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 18, 2022, from 10:00am-Noon at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services. Graveside committal service will follow at Poplar Bluff City Cemetery with Nancy Lotz officiating.

Memorial donations may be made directly to Teresa to offset her father's final expenses.
