Dorothy Marie Gray

Dorothy Marie Gray, 81, of Poplar Bluff died Sunday, June 22, 2008 at Mark Twain caring Center, in Poplar Bluff.

Mrs. Gray was born Aug. 11, 1926, in Poplar Bluff. She attended New Life Christian Church United, and had retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. She enjoyed working in her yard and shopping.

On Feb. 17, 1946, she married Norman Gray. He preceded her in death on Nov. 7, 1991.

Mrs. Gray is survived by two daughter, Yvonne Renfroe and husband Rex, and Cathy Sullivan and husband Daniel, of Poplar Bluff; two grandchildren, Derek Renfroe and wife Kelly, of Dexter, and Lauren Richardson and husband Ray, of Dumphries, Va.; three great-grandchildren, Madison, Natalie and Nicholas Renfroe.

A daughter, Michelle Antoinette Gray; her parents, Septimus and Mary Ellen (Berry) Brown; three sisters, Buena Brown, Nina Carlille and Billie Hall; and two brothers, Jimmy Brown and Bobby Brown preceded her in death.

Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the Chapel. Burial will be at the City Cemetery, in Poplar Bluff.
