Donnie Lee Glass

Donnie Lee Glass, 81, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at his home in Poplar Bluff.

Donnie was born on July 17, 1940 to Carnie and Eunice Glass in Lyon County, Kentucky.

Donnie's greatest pastime was playing golf. He was a member of Westwood Hills Country Club for many years. He enjoyed dancing, traveling, and visiting casinos from time to time. He was also a member and officer of the local Elks Lodge #2452.

Donnie is survived by his special friend, Brenda Norman of the home; three daughters, Kathy (Frank) Armeno of Bonne Terre, Missouri, Karen Gorka of Fairview Heights, Illinois, Donna (Rick) Lemar of St. Louis, Missouri and; two step-sons, John (Jill) Sorbie of St Jacob, Illinois and Rick (Laura) Sorbie of Farmington, Missouri; two sisters, Bonnie (Allen) Watters and Tammie (Rodney) Thomas; two brothers, Bobbie (Patti) Glass and Ronnie (Barbara) Glass; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Donnie was preceded in death by Janet (Sorbie) Glass whom he married on November 7, 1976, his parents, and many aunts and uncles.

No service will be held at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Legacy Hospice of Poplar Bluff and Poplar Bluff Elks Lodge Scholarship Fund.
