Donald Carl Rublaitus

Donald Carl Rublaitus, 83, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away Friday, August 05, 2022, at John J. Pershing VA Medical Center.

Don was born on August 30, 1938, to Carl and Opal (Smith) Rublaitus in Toledo, Ohio. He married Pamela Whitfield on October 23, 2004, in Branson, Missouri.

Don attended First Baptist Church. He was a proud member of the United States Coast Guard. He was talented welder, craftsman, and handy man. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, yard work and spending time with his wife, Pam. He was a proud Papa and loved his grandbabies.

Don is survived by his wife; two sons, Kirk (Linda) Rublaitus and Greg (Kristen) Rublaitus; one daughter, Brianne (Sam) Riggins; two brothers, Doug (Patty) Rublaitus and Chuck (Mary) Rublaitus; one sister, Shirley (Robert) McGeehan; four grandchildren, Kyle, Adaline, Laynie, and Lucas; two great-grandchildren, Colton and Sophie; two sister-in-laws, Karen (Bill) Slicer and Kim Stenger; two close family friends, Richard Joachim and Mike Miller; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Don was preceded by both parents.
