Donald Ray Richardson

Donald Ray Richardson, 73, of Poplar Bluffed passed away December 5, 2020 at his residence.

Donald was born on April 11, 1947 to Osmon and Iola Barker Richardson in Poplar Bluff.  He married Mary Evelyn Farmer June 24, 1989 at the First Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff.  She preceded in him in death on September 17th, 2009.

Donald joined the United States Army May 25, 1966 and was honorably discharged March 3, 1968 as a Senior Specialist.

Donald attended the Temple Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff.  He was the former vice president of the MO-ARK Regional Railroad Museum.  Donald enjoyed researching family genealogy and the history of Poplar Bluff.  He also enjoyed traveling to historical sights and visiting friends.

In addition to his loving wife and parents, Donald is preceded in death by a brother Ralph Richardson.

The family will receive friends from 11 AM until time of service Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at the Temple Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff.  Funeral service will be held at 12 PM at the church with the Rev. Steve Patterson officiating.  Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Poplar Bluff with full military honors.
