Devonna Sue Sitzes

Devonna Sue Sitzes, 64, of Poplar Bluff died Friday, July 13, 2007 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Ms. Sitzes was born Jan. 26, 1943, in Arcadia Valley, Mo. She was a member of Abundant Life Christian Church, in Poplar Bluff and a homemaker. Mrs. Sitzes enjoyed spending time with her children, especially her grandchildren, writing poetry and her church.

Survivors include seven daughters, Kelly S. Ward, of Broseley, Deborah L. Noble, of Dexter, Tina M. Ormsby, of Fairdealing, Amanda S. Sitzes and Jennifer L. Sitzes, both of Poplar Bluff and Jeri S. Sitzes and Rebekah S. Sitzes, both of Springfield; two sons, Ferenc G. Milisits, of Tex. and Johnny O. Milisits, of New Madrid; 11 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; her sister, Delores Constable, of Baldwin; and her brother, Harley Lambert, of Jacksonville, Ark.

Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. in the chapel, with the Rev. David Thomas officiating. Burial will be at the City Cemetery, in Poplar Bluff.
