Dennis James Lloyd

Dennis James Lloyd, 63, of Williamsville, Missouri, formerly of Iowa, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at his home.

Dennis was born July 24, 1960, in Iowa City, Iowa to David and Norma Kay (Powell) Lloyd.  He worked in the utility trailer industry but took early retirement to live with and take care of his mother after the passing of his father.  Dennis enjoyed camping, especially with his loving children Nathan and Miranda. Their greatest memory was his quick wit and great sense of humor. Dennis loved being outdoors and spending time with his family, who also enjoyed his wit and humor.  He especially loved spending time with his special friend Connie and her grandson.  Dennis will be dearly missed by all his family and friends.

Survivors include his mother Kay Lloyd of the home; his children, Nathan Lloyd and Miranda Lloyd of Iowa; his two brothers, Dean Lloyd and Nelson Lloyd; his special friend Connie of Arkansas; and a nephew Isaiah Lloyd.

Dennis’s wishes were to be cremated and his cremains taken back to his beloved state of Iowa.  He will be interred with his grandfather at a later date.
