Deberah Charleene Hooper

Deberah “Debbie” Hooper, 65, of Poplar Bluff, Mo passed away Monday, October 26, 2020 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Debbie was born October 18, 1955, in St. Louis, MO to Barbara J. Keith of Troy, MO.

Debbie was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and she also loved Harley Davidson motorcycles and taking motorcycle rides.

In addition to her mother, Debbie is survived by longtime companion, David Priest of Doniphan; seven children, Travis (fiancé Amber Morris) Hooper, Bobby (fiancé Misty Hendricks) Hooper, Sheena Hooper, and Amber Hooper, all of Poplar Bluff and Eric and Jay Hooper, Jessica Sawyer Hogg, and step-daughter Codi Priest;  fifteen grandchildren, Paige Hooper, Katlyn Sawyer, Ashley Sawyer, Molly Sawyer, Jade Hooper, Andrew Warren-Hooper, Jordan Martin, Peytin Martin, McKinley Martin, Luka Carter, Kylo Carter, David Mills, and Karolyn Mills all of Poplar Bluff, and Kayla and Dakota Hooper of St. Louis; and two great grandchildren Kenston Sawyer Million and Elizabeth Zacuniga.

Also surviving are three sisters, Shelia Diaz of Woodriver, IL, Nikkii Jaouni of Austin, TX and Heidi (Greg) Lacasse of Troy, MO; two brothers, Keith McNeil of Annapolis, MO and Dirk McNeil of Fenton, MO; nine nieces, Jessica, Melissa and Larae Bennett of St. Louis, Michelle Admire of Edwardsville, IL, Sarah McNeil of St. Louis, Curstin, Caleen, and Anya McNeil of Fenton, MO, and Lydia Lacasse of Troy, MO; four nephews, Josh Chaney and Keith McNeil of St. Louis, Alex McNeil of Troy, MO and Jacob (Bri) Lacasse of Wentzville, MO; two aunts, Joan Keith of St. Charles, MO, and Wilma Casteel of Indiana; great-nephew Gage Russell among many other great nieces and nephews.

Debbie was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother Lydia Marie Keith.

Visitation will be held Monday, November 2, 2020 from noon until time of service at Cotrell Funeral Sevice. A Memorial Service will be held at 1PM at the funeral home with Rev. Steve Proctor officiating.
