Dawn Renee Griffith

Dawn Renee Griffith was taken into the arms of our Lord on December 31, 2022.

Born December 5, 1961, Dawn enjoyed playing the piano, writing poetry, and caring for animals. A 20 year resident of Poplar Bluff, she had recently suffered from multiple strokes. But now, it is promised, “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain…”  (Rev 21:4)

She is survived by her husband, Kean Griffith, MD, and children Alana Griffith (Phil Lester), Allison Bieller (Eric), Amy Luke, Grace Frevert (Matt), Adam Griffith, Rhys Griffith, and Ethan Griffith (Ravyn Decker) and grandchildren Willow Luke, Adeline Lester, Roman Thrasher, Connor Thompson, Dallas Griffith, and Charlotte Frevert.

She is also survived by her parents Col. Nyles and Dixie Courtney, and brothers Jeffrey Spencer (Leslie) and Jonathan Courtney and was a beloved aunt, cousin, and friend to many.

Dawn was a life-long follower of Christ and in lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Fellowship General Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff, MO.
