David Anthony Wamhoff

David Anthony Wamhoff, 38, of Wappapello, died unexpectedly Monday, Nov. 27, 2006 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Wamhoff was born April 23, 1968, in St. Louis. He was a Bail Bondsman with AA Fast Bail Bonds, in Hillsboro and a member of the National Bail Bondsman Association. Mr. Wamhoff was also a veteran of the United States Army. He enjoyed spending time with his family, and hunting and fishing.

On Aug. 1, 1998, he married Stephanie Chapman, in Paducah, Ky. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include four children, Richard Padilla, Morgan Wamhoff and Matt Morris, of the home and Danielle Wamhoff, of House Springs; his parents, Jerry and Fonda (Gibson) Wells, of O'Fallon; a sister, Stacy Korte, of O'Fallon; and his grandfather, Clyde Laxton, of Wappapello.

Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. Friday at the Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy 30, Cedar Hill, Mo. A Memorial Service will follow at 5 p.m. Friday in the Chapel, with the Rev. Brett Franklin officiating.
