David Wayne Norden, 58, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, October 1, 2022.
He was born on March 7, 1964, in Poplar Bluff, to James and Imogene Norden. He is a 1982 graduate of Twin Rivers High School. He loved anything related to hunting and fishing, spending time at Mingo National Wildlife Refuge, watching his Alabama Crimson Tide football (Roll Tide!), and spending time with his family.
He is survived by a wife, Poppy Norden of Poplar Bluff; four children, Kristen (Adam) Crader, James (Brittany) Norden, Joshua (Jessica) Norden, and Zachary (Stormie) Norden; three grandsons and eight granddaughters; brother, Rick Norden of Dudley, Missouri; sister, Linda Worden of Geneva, Illinois.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Edward Norden.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations for either St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Friends of Mingo National Wildlife Refuge be made instead. Those are two organizations that were very near and dear to him.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 4 p.m.-7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, 2022, at 3660 Highway 51 Fisk, Missouri.
