David E. Miller, 67, of Poplar Bluff, died Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2007 at St. Francis Medical Center, in Cape Girardeau.
Mr. Miller was born March 28, 1939, in Middletown, Ohio. He worked 9 years at Rowe Furniture Co. and operated the Coliseum Fitness Center for 20 years. Mr. Miller was also a veteran of the United States Navy. He enjoyed exercising and lifting weights.
On April 4, 1959, he married Shirley Crossen. She survives.
Survivors include his mother, Daisy Miller, of Franklin, Ohio; two daughters Vickie Miller, of Sunrise, Fla. and Linda Miller, of Poplar Bluff; two sisters, Veronica Myers, of Middletown, Ohio and Carolyn Mize, of Northport, Fla.; and a brother Ben Miller, of Franklin, Ohio.
Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Sunday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral chapel, with Pastor Larry Ward officiating. Burial with full military honors will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery, in Bloomfield.
