Rev. David E. Hahn, 76, of Poplar Bluff, died Friday, April 13, 2007 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Rev. Hahn was born Feb. 27, 1931, in Marble Hill. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church where he served as treasurer and music leader. Rev. Hahn retired after serving as a pastor for over 30 years in several states. He was also a veteran of the United States Air Force, having served during the Korean Conflict. Rev. Hahn enjoyed the ministry, following the military in the news and old tractors.
On Jan. 25, 1953, he married June Mayberry, in Enid, Okla. She survives.
Other survivors include two daughters, Ruth Hoover, of Lee's Summit, Mo. and Joanna Bowles, of Plano, Tex.; four grandchildren; his mother, Verdetta (Hahn) Seabagh, of Marble Hill; a sister, Carol Angle, of St. Louis; and a brother, Gary Hahn, of Marble Hill.
Visitation will be from 6 - 8 Monday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, in Poplar Bluff. A closed casket funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel with the Rev. Bob Healy officiating. Burial will be at the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery, in Marble Hill.
