Connie Lynn (Little) Welch

Connie Lynn Welch, 60, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away Tuesday, September 06, 2022, at her home.

Connie was born on April 6, 1962, to Dale and Ida (Shields) Little in Roswell, New Mexico. She married Bill Welch on September 6, 1979, in Abilene, Texas.

Connie was an animal lover. In her younger years she loved to travel. She was able to travel overseas when Bill was stationed in Sicily. She liked to stroll the open markets there and visit her favorite "egg man". She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball and Dallas Cowboys football fan. She also loved The Walking Dead tv show. Connie enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and knitting. She loved her grandbabies and enjoyed facetiming with Kimber. Throughout her relationship with Bill, she was a strong head of the household when he had to be away for work, and she always remained loyal and reliable.

Connie is survived by her life partner of over 40 years, Bill Welch; three children, Billy Joe Welch, Corey Welch, and Arianna (Kevin) Abbey; one sister, Sherri (Don) Smith; two grandchildren, Wyatt Welch, and Kimber Abbey; along with numerous extended family members.

Connie was preceded by parents; and her canine companion, Jax.
