Cody Shoshone Condray, 33, of Greenville, died Friday October 5, 2007 at his residence. Cody was born March 4, 1974 at Doniphan to the late Norvin (Nob) Condray and Doris Bailey Condray.
Mr. Condray truly enjoyed nature and traveling as well as being outdoors where he always respected all things created. He was a member of the National Wildlife Federation, National Arbor Day Foundation, and the Endangered Breeds Association. His interest and love of life had led him to study while he was a former student on the dean's list at Mineral Area College in Park Hills, Mo. His field of study was Psychology and Criminal Justice.
Earlier he traveled to various states and visited several Indian reservations where he worked as a missionary for the Native American Indians and provided humanitarian efforts. In addition he enjoyed music and had actually seen as many as 600 different musicians in several cities and states.
He lived most of his life in Wayne County, besides living in Wyoming and Colorado.
Surviving are his mother, Doris Berkebile of Tennessee, one brother, Duane of Greenville, and his special friend, Sandy Alexander of Poplar Bluff.
Mr. Condray was preceded in death by his father, Norvin (Nob) Condray and grandparents, Jasper and Mary Willard Bailey and the Rev. N. M. Condray and Ada Brinkley Condray.
Private funeral services will be under the direction of Cotrell Funeral Service followed by burial at Cool Springs Cemetery near Greenville.
