Christie Kay Dodd

Christie Kay Dodd, 59, passed away Thursday, May 20, 2021 at her residence.

Christie was born November 17, 1961 in Pontiac, MI to Richard and Kathy (Perkio) Ayotte.  She and Greg Dodd were married November 17, 1978 at Twin Springs Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff. He survives of the home.

Christie enjoyed quilting and sewing as well as listening to music, driving fast and fishing.  Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and family.

In addition to her loving husband, Christie is survived by two daughters, Jessica (Jason) Longhibler, and Stacey (Jason) Waite; four grandchildren, Bryson, Blake, Mercedys, and Lexi; her father, Richard Ayotte; her father-in-law, Larry Lee (Debbie) Dodd; a niece, Stephanie (Jim) Whitmer; a great nephew, Chase and numerous family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Kathy; a sister, Becky Lynn Dugas and her mother-in-law, Gretta Sue Dodd.

The family with hold a private ceremony at a later date.
