Cheche Ann Hastings

Cheche Ann Hastings, 68, of Poplar Bluff died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2007 at her residence.

Ms. Hastings was born June 29, 1939, in Harviell. She attended elementary thru 8th grade at Harviell Schools, 3 years at Minden High School, in Minden, La. and one year at Christian School, in Tulsa, Okla. Ms. Hastings was of the Protestant faith, and had retired as a waitress.

She was married to James Priest, of Tulsa, Okla. Later she married Ronald Barthels, in St. Louis.

Survivors include daughters, Kathy Priest, of Scottsdale, Ariz. and Diane Priest, of Bunker; sons, Charles Barthels and Ronnie Barthels, both of Springfield; her mother, Mildred (Cochran) Warbington, of Poplar Bluff; 9 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and numerous other relatives.

A memorial visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, in Poplar Bluff. A graveside commital service will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Cochran Cemetery, in Butler County with Gary Cochran officiating.
