Charles Keith Hefner

Charles K. Hefner, 71, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away on December 03, 2021, at St. Luke's Hospital in Chesterfield, Missouri.

Charles was born on November 24, 1950, to Zachariah and Evelyn (Brockman) Hefner in Qulin, Missouri.  He married Vickie Reese on June 19, 1971, in Qulin.

Charles was a member of First Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff. He and Vickie enjoyed traveling and were always on the go. Charles enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and fishing. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family, especially the grandkids.

Charles is survived by his wife Vickie; one son, Charles "Keith" Hefner II and wife Stephanie of Poplar Bluff; one daughter, Kristi DeArman and husband Jim of Malden; one brother, Roger (Phyllis) Hefner of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; two sisters, Brenda Menley of Poplar Bluff and Debra Chilton of Van Buren; three grandchildren, Emily (Clayton) Carpenter of Poplar Bluff, Dylan and Allison DeArman, both of Malden; sister-in-law, Sheila (Harold) Swindle of St. Louis; brother-in-law, Kevin (Corinne) Reese of Florence, Alabama.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents; mother and father-in-law, Jewell and Glenda Reese; three brother-in-laws, Ernest Menley, Giles Chilton, and Kenneth Reese.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 05, 2021, from 12:00-1:00pm at Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services followed by service beginning at 1:00pm with Pastor Steve Francis officiating. Burial will take place at Qulin Cemetery.
