Charles Henry Davis

Charles Henry Davis, 90, of Poplar Bluff, passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at his residence.

Charles was born March 7, 1931, to John and Lela (Bradford) Davis in Greenway, Arkansas.  He and Mamie Burdin were married January 9, 1953, in Piggott, Arkansas.  She survives.

Charles was inducted into the United States Army on January 23, 1951 and honorable discharged on August 25, 1952.

Charles was a member of the Green Forrest Church of Christ.

In addition to his loving wife, Charles is survived by two children, Rick (Teresa) Davis of Poplar Bluff and Teresa (Michael) Page of Poplar Bluff; four grandchildren, Scott (Bethany) Davis of Wichita, Kansas, Ashley (Matt) Marfio of Laingsburg, Michigan, Logan (Kallsy) Page of Sarasota, Florida, and Dylan Page of Poplar Bluff; and five great grandchildren, Timothy and Chase Davis of Wichita, Kansas and Gracie, Wyatt and Izzy Marfio of Laingsburg, Michigan.

Due to Covid 19 and the local rise in area cases, there was a private family service held.  A public graveside inurnment in the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery will be announced and held at a later date.
