Cathy Ann Williams

Cathy Ann Williams, 69, of Williamsville, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2021, at Westwood Hills Health and Rehab Center in Poplar Bluff.

Cathy, the daughter of Archibald Williams and Barbara June (Townsend) Pearman, was born Dec. 18, 1952, in St. Louis, Missouri.  She had retired as bookkeeper for Bunge Grain Elevators and later raised quarter horses.  Her peaceful place was being outdoors with her horses, dogs, and other animals but her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

On Aug. 7, 1976, she married John Robert ‘Bob’ Williams in Poplar Bluff.  He survives.

Other survivors include a son Jeff Uthoff of Malden, Missouri; two daughters, Michele (Steve) Ray of Williamsville and Jennifer (Ronnie) Peck of High Springs, Florida; a stepson Robert Williams of Jackson; five grandchildren, Tori Parker, Samuel Ray, Hunter Peck, Madison Peck and Racheal Williams; two sisters, Marilyn Duggan of Tennessee, and Cindy (Jerry) Sparks of Malden; a brother Randy (Cathy) Pearman of Nixa; and several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

Cathy was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson Nicholas Holt.

A private family gathering will be held at a later time.
