Carylon Faye Barker

Carylon Faye Barker, 70, of Harviell, MO passed away on December 07, 2024, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Carylon was born on September 22, 1954, to Bill and Mae Gill in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.  She married Thomas Edgar Barker on May 15, 1971, in Harviell, Missouri.
Carylon was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She never met a stranger and would open her home up to anyone. She was lovingly called Grammer by her great grandchildren. Carylon enjoyed playing games, especially bingo, rummikub and monopoly (when she was the banker), hunting, fishing, crabbing, and gardening. She was a lifelong member of Harviell First Baptist Church and loved singing in the choir. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Carylon is survived by two sons, Thomas (Polly) Barker and Marlin (Angela) Barker; nine grandchildren, Blake, Broderick (Brianna), Ciara, Christopher (Lauren), Alyssa (Hunter), Bethany, Laney, Gabby, and Gracie; six great grandchildren, Laili, Max, Quinn, Blake, Adelynn, and Indeigh: three siblings, Preston (Sharon),  Chester (Jane), and Kathy (Wayne); sister- in-law, Brenda; her precious Mighty Mouse, many brothers and sisters in laws; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Carylon was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Mae; husband, Thomas Edgar Barker; one brother, Alton; and one nephew, Bill.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, from 6:00-8:00 pm at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services in Poplar Bluff, MO.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, December 12, 2024, beginning at 11:00 at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services with Pastor Jeff Moore officiating. Burial will take place at Cochran Cemetery.
