Carolyn "Jo" Joann (Phillips) Jett

Carolyn "Jo" JoAnn Jett, 80, of Poplar Bluff, MO, entered Heaven's gates, March 23, 2023.

Jo was born on June 29, 1942, to Ira and Lily (Mitchell) Phillips in Stonefort, Illinois. She married Henry Lyle Jett on July 21, 1962, also in Stonefort, Illinois.

Jo was a member of Fellowship General Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff. She was a hard worker and a dedicated wife and mother. Jo loved to sing, play piano, go to bible study, and attend church. She enjoyed playing card games and completing puzzles. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her granddaughters.

Jo is survived by three sons, Allen (Annita) Jett, Curtis Jett, and Scott (Kim) Jett; one brother, Herschel Phillips; one sister, Carol Groves; four granddaughters, Mary Jett, Maggie Jett, Taylor Jett, and Madison Maple.

Jo was preceded in death by her parents; husband; four brothers, Robert, Alvin, Richard, and Edward Phillips; one sister, Lucille Hausser.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 26, 2023, from 5:00-6:00pm at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services. Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 27, 2023, at 10:00am. Burial will take place at Black Creek Cemetery.
