Carolyn Sue (Heaton) Aldrich

Carolyn Sue Aldrich, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away Saturday, Aug. 22, 2020, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center, in Poplar Bluff.

Carolyn was born April 27, 1943, in Bassett, AR to Carl and Fennie Irene (Oakes) Heaton.  She married Jerry Leon Aldrich on Nov. 29, 1963 in Poplar Bluff.  He preceded her in death on Oct. 23, 2019.

Carolyn was a graduate of Broseley High School and Poplar Bluff Cosmetology School.  She loved to sew and enjoyed decorating and making crafts.  Her most cherished times were spent with her family.

Survivors include a daughter Teresa (Joe) Murray of Poplar Bluff; a son Jerry  (Terri) Aldrich II of Qulin; four grandchildren, Bobbi Maclin of Poplar Bluff, Joseph (Kelli) Murray of Jackson, Jerry (Joyce) Aldrich, III of  San Francisco, CA, and Brandon (Hoku) Aldrich of Springfield; a great-granddaughter Melody  Maclin;  two sisters,  Faye (Carl) Honeycutt  and Bonnie Reed; a brother Jack (Mary Sue) Heaton all of Poplar Bluff; a sister-in-law  Velta Heaton of Williamsville; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Carolyn was also preceded in death by her parents, sisters Sally and Donis and brothers, Buck, Melvin, Gordon and CD.

Visitation will begin at 10 am Wednesday with the funeral service following at 11 am at Cotrell Funeral Chapel.  Rev. Billy Orr will officiate.  Burial will be at Holladay/Aldrich Family Cemetery in Wayne County.
