Carole Ann (White) Brown

Carole Ann Brown, 76, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away on June 26, 2024, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

Carole was born on July 31, 1947, to Thoris and Eula (Prater) White in Frankclay, Missouri. She married Jerry Brown on October 25, 1966, in Leadwood, Missouri.

Carole was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed being outdoors and boating on Current River. Carole was an avid reader and had quite a collection of books. She also liked watching cooking shows. Carole was a well-known, friendly face at Kmart where she worked for over 35 years.  Her greatest joy in life was her grandbabies, whom she loved and adored!

Carole is survived by her husband of nearly 60 years, Jerry Brown; two sons, Steven Brown and Timothy (Gina) Brown; one sister, Brenda (Jim) Edgar; one brother, Gary (Karen) White; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild on the way; along with numerous extended family and friends.

Carole was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Connie Phipps.

Carole was interred in the Missouri State Veteran's Cemetery in Bloomfield.
