Carl G. ""Buddy"" Watson, Jr. age 51, of Poplar Bluff, died May 3, 2007 at his residence. Mr. Watson was born October 19, 1955 in Hayti. He was a rail tester for the railroad companies. A member of the Highland Church of Christ, he also enjoyed music, mostly New Age Music.
Surviving are 3 children, Carl G. Watson, III of Hickam Air Force Base in Honolulu, Hawaii, Scott Andrew Watson of Portland, Oreg. And Heather Nicole Watson of Springfield, Mo.; 4 grandchildren; one brother Thomas Gene Watson of Anchorage, Alaska; and 3 sisters, Louise H. Perry of Bentonville, Ark., Patsy Myers and Dorthy Bass both of Poplar Bluff and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be at 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Monday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel. The funeral service will be at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home chapel with Mr. Vernon Curry officiating. Burial will be in the Myrtle Cemetery, Myrtle, Mo.
