Carl Phillip "Butch" Gray

Carl Phillip "Butch" Gray, 77, of Wappapello, MO passed away Monday, September 26, 2022, at his home.

Carl was born on December 27, 1944, to Don and Marie (Stout) Gray in St. Louis, Missouri. He married Barbara (Jenkins) on February 29, 1964, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Carl was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed spending time outdoors. He was an avid fisherman and liked to compete in tournaments at the lake. Carl also liked to spend time on the farm.

Carl is survived by his wife of 58 years, Barbara; two sons, Curtis Gray and Eric (Denise) Gray; one brother, Chan (Regina) Gray; one sister, Donna Gray; three grandchildren, Tina, Jaxon, and Lexi; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Carl was preceded by his parents.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 30, 2022, from 11:00-12:00 at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services. Funeral service will follow beginning at noon. Burial will take place at Kinsey Cemetery.
