Brian Christopher Evans

Brian C. Evans, 46, of Poplar Bluff, MO, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2022, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.

Brian was born on April 30, 1976, to James and Diana (Moen) Evans in Poplar Bluff, MO. He married the love of his life, Stacey (Pyle) Evans on October 11, 2008, in Poplar Bluff, MO.

Brian was a comical and lighthearted person who always tried to see the humor in life. He enjoyed grilling, playing with the grandbabies, and going to the races. He was also an avid soccer fan; his favorite team was Liverpool. Brian never missed a chance to bring a smile or laugh to those around him. He loved his family and friends fiercely.

Brian is survived by his wife, Stacey Evans; mother, Diana Evans; two daughters, Briann (Cody) West and Brittany (Jacob Jordan) Evans; two sons, Caleb, and Dalton Teague; sister, Melissa Phelps; three grandchildren, Wyatt, Wrenlee, and Axel; stepmother, Glenda Evans; along with numerous extended family and friends.

Brian was preceded in death by his father, James “Jim” Evans; daughter, Brooklynn Evans; and his canine companion, Sam who passed away the day before Brian.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2022, from 10:00-12:00pm at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services. Funeral service will follow beginning at noon with Pastor Kenny King officiating. Burial will take place at the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.
