Bobby Gene Burgess

Bobby Gene Burgess 63, of Poplar Bluff died Sunday, September 23, 2007 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center, in Poplar Bluff.

Mr. Burgess was born Aug. 26, 1944, in Morgan County, Tenn. He was a member of New Home General Baptist Church. Mr. Burgess enjoyed working on clocks and old cars.

On Sept. 4, 2002, he married Judy Arnold Foust, in Piggott, Ark. She survives.

Other survivors include two sisters, Gladys Kirkpatrick, of Poplar Bluff and Helen Feete, of Tucson, AZ; two brothers, Leroy Burgess and Clyde Burgess, both of Poplar Bluff; three stepsons, Randy Foust, of Fulton, Paul Foust, of St. Charles, and James Foust, of Castle Rock, Colo.; and four step grandchildren.Visitation will be from 2 - 3 p.m. Tuesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. in the chapel with the Rev. Calvin Buhler officiating. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.
