Bobbie Gene Fry

Bobbie Gene Fry, 80, of Poplar Bluff, formerly of Cardwell and St. Charles, died Monday, Nov. 19, 2007 at The Cedargate Care Center, in Poplar Bluff.

Mr. Fry was born Sept. 13, 1927, in Cardwell, Mo. He was member of the Highland Drive Church of Christ, and had retired as a building inspector and carpenter. Mr. Fry was a member of the Masonic Lodge, in St. Charles. He enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren, woodworking, picture painting and traveling.

On April 7, 1950, he was married to Mary Jo Summitt, in Paragould, Ark. She survives.

Other survivors include daughter, Janna Lynn Davis and husband Brent, of Poplar Bluff; sons William ""Bill"" Fry and wife Cathy and Rick Fry and wife Sandy, all of St. Charles; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and brother, Elwayne Fry, of Cape Girardeau.

A graveside service and burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cardwell Cemetery, in Cardwell, Mo., with Bro. David Flannery officiating.
