Blakeney was at times very stubborn and driven to achieve his dreams, his way! He seemed to choose the road less traveled in most cases and overcoming obstacles was his greatest strength. He thrived and performed his best when the chips where down and the pressure was reaching its pinnacle.  Blakeney always had the undeniable belief that if given the opportunity, he could will a positive outcome or utilize his God given abilities along with the performances of his teammates to achieve success and become champions.  Blakeney was an amazingly kind person with a huge heart that gravitated to anyone that appeared to be an underdog.  He was a person anyone would want in their foxhole when the bullets where flying.  He had a loyalty to his friends and family that will never die.  Blakeney lived his life in the moment and was always full of adventure and although he left this world too soon, he left his memory as an example to many.  He is now on his greatest adventure connecting with the many friends and family members that preceded him into the Kingdom of Heaven.

Blakeney’s family would like to invite everyone to come celebrate his life on Thursday, April 14th, 2022, at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services located at 1100 Iron Bridge Rd, Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
