Billy A. Berry, 74, of Poplar Bluff died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2007 at his residence.
Mr. Berry was born Feb. 9, 1933, in White Oak, Mo. He was a member of First Methodist Church, a retired pipeline worker for Mississippi River Transmission Corp. Mr. Berry was a veteran of the United States Army having served with the 453rd Engineer Battalion, in Korea from 1953-1955. He enjoyed spending time with his family, restoring antique tractors, farming and gardening.
On Dec. 23, 1955, he married Betty Vineyard at the First Methodist Church, in Poplar Bluff. She preceded him in death on Jan. 7, 2007.
Survivors include son, Greg Berry and wife Lisa, of Bedford, Ind.; and sister, Sharon Ellsworth, of Poplar Bluff.
His parents, Ernest and Addie Mae (Luther) Berry and brother, Wallace Berry also preceded him in death.
Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Sunday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the Chapel with Rev. Kurt Schuermann officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, in Poplar Bluff.
