Betty Lou Ramsey Willoughby, 73, of Poplar Bluff, formerly of Naylor, died Thursday, Nov. 8, 2007 at Mark Twain Caring Center, in Poplar Bluff.
Mrs. Willoughby was born July 20, 1934, in Tribune, Mo. She was a member of First Baptist Church, in Poplar Bluff, and had retired as a sales tax auditor for Missouri Department of Revenue. Mrs. Willoughby was a member of Democrat Women's Club and 53 year member of the Eastern Star, Hyacinth Chapter of Naylor. She was an avid fan of Three Rivers Raiders basketball and St. Louis Cardinal's baseball.
Survivors include daughters, Carman Priest and her husband, Dennis and Kim Willoughby, all of Poplar Bluff; sons, Tim Willoughby, of Jefferson City and Michael ""Todd"" Willoughby, both of Poplar Bluff; grandchildren, Dennis ""Michael"" Priest and his wife Heather, and Denise ""Michelle"" Shepard and her husband Chris, all of Poplar Bluff; great-grandson, Caleb Michael-Thomas Shepard, of Poplar Bluff; sisters, Alice Bruner, of Rockford, Ill, Elizabeth Walpole, of Longview, Tex., Norma Barnhart, of Fairdealing and Dorothy McCarty and Elouise King, both of Poplar Bluff and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Her parents, Frank D. and Sarah E. (Milton) Ramsey, sister, Aileen Warden, brother-in-laws, Frank Barnhart, Robert McCarty, Albert Brunner, Cecil Walpole and William ""Rex"" King preceded her in death.
A graveside service and burial will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, in Poplar Bluff with Dr. William Vail officiating.
