Bette Jo Hummel

Bette Jo Williamson Hummel, 78, of Fairdealing, MO passed away, surrounded by her family, on November 29, 2024, at her home in Fairdealing, Missouri.
Bette was born on October 17, 1946, to Samuel and Gladys Williamson in St. John, Indiana.  She married Dennis Hummel on December 18, 1964, in Griffith Indiana. In May 1970, their marriage was sealed at Salt Lake Temple.
Bette was baptized on August 31, 1968, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, endured until the end. Bette was a virtuous woman that lived only for her family and will be deeply missed by all.
Bette is survived by her husband of 60 years, Dennis; three sons, Jeffrey Hummel, John (Sandy) Hummel, Jeremy (Angela) Hummel; three daughters, Tricia (Scott) Hardin, Sarah (Shawn) Densford, and Jennifer (Randy) Pych; thirteen grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, from 11:00- noon at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services in Poplar Bluff, MO.
Funeral services will immediately follow with Bishop Richard Amundsen officiating.
