Bert Lee Warren, Sr., of Poplar Bluff, died Sunday, Dec. 3, 2006 at Westwood Hills Healthcare Center, in Poplar Bluff.
Mr. Warren was born Sept. 20, 1940, in Poplar Bluff to the late Guy and Bertha (Diamond) Warren. He was of the Baptist faith and had retired from the Poplar Bluff City Street Department as a shop foreman. Mr. Warren was also a member of the Missouri National Guard for 21 years.
On March 7, 1959, he married Carolyn Jean Lawson, in Poplar Bluff. She survives.
Other survivors include his son, Bert L. Warren, Jr. and wife Billie, of Jackson; one grandchild, Sara Warren, of Columbia, Mo.; his mother-in-law, Neva Lawson, of Poplar Bluff; three brother-in-laws, Don Lawson, of Palm Springs, Calif., Jerry Lawson and wife Mary, of Poplar Bluff and Bill Lawson and wife Glenda, of Cabot, Ark.; and seven cousins.
The visitation will be from 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, in Poplar Bluff. A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the City Cemetery, in Poplar Bluff with the Rev. Jim Schremp officiating.
