Barbara Sue (Parks) Foust

Barbara Sue Foust, 78, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Barb was born on August 11, 1943, to Irmel and Alma (Montgomery) Parks in Fisk, Missouri. She married Don Foust on September 03, 1960, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

She loved flowers and was a talented gardener, raising a wide variety of vegetables and fruits, canning and preserving a great amount.

She worked in a garment factory becoming a master seamstress, altering clothing sizes even making her nieces custom Barbie outfits.

She was an incredible cook, becoming famous at the school system for her cinnamon rolls.

Family was very important as she did her best to provide a comfortable life to her husband and boys. She loved her husband Don fiercely and did not want to do anything apart from him

Barb is survived by her husband, Don Foust; three sons, Don (Sondra) Foust, Dave (Krissy) Foust, Doug (Sandi) Foust; six grandchildren, Ryan (Breanna) Foust, Sean (Alicia) Foust, Lyndy (Andrew) Willis, Zane (Mackenzie) Foust, Benjamin Foust, and Jackson Foust; five great-grandchildren, Adalyn, Baylor, Judah, Katie Anne, and Emerson; as well as numerous extended family members.

Barb was preceded by her parents; one sister, Irma Faye Cattron; one brother, Glenn Dale Parks.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2022, from 10:00am-12:00pm at Grace Christian Fellowship Church. Funeral service will follow beginning at noon which Reverend Brian Sharp. Burial will take place at Ash Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the United Cancer Assistance Network of Poplar Bluff or American Cancer Society.
