Arda Jane (Mcmullin) Terry

Arda Jane Terry, 69, of Poplar Bluff, MO, passed away peacefully Thursday, October 31, 2024, in the comfort of her home.

Arda was born on December 30, 1954, to John and Shirley (Gholson) McMullin in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. She married Dale Terry on July 26, 1981, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Arda was a cherished friend, devoted family member, and passionate soul. She brought joy and warmth to those around her. Arda was an avid cook and delighted in creating meals that brought loved ones together. Her kitchen was a sanctuary filled with the aromas of home-cooked dishes and laughter.

A true lover of antiques, Arda had an eye for treasure; often scouring flea markets and estate sales for unique finds. Her home was a reflection of her passion, filled with stories and history that she loved to share.

Arda was also an animal lover, dedicated to the care and well-being of her pets. She believed that animals enriched life in profound ways and often opened her heart and home to those in need.

Arda is survived by her husband, Dale Terry; son, Scott (Mandy) Terry; brother, Mark (Kim) McMullin; sister, Lori (Joe) Olvera; along with numerous extended family and friends who will forever treasure her memory.

Her spirit will live on through the meals shared, gardens tended, antiques cherished, and animals loved.

Arda was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Mike McMullin.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
