Archie P. Dare

Archie Paul Dare, 93, of Poplar Bluff, died August 10, 2007 at his residence. He was born August 5, 1914 at Hendrickson, Mo. Mr. Dare retired after 30 years from E. C. Robinson Lumber Co. and also did carpentry work. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church and worked with the Royal Rangers at his church. He enjoyed watching Cardinal baseball games, gardening, and camping.

On March 27, 1937 he married Dorothy Lee Ward in Poplar Bluff and she preceded him in death on May 22, 2004.

Surviving are two daughters, Sue McDonald and Linda Howdeshell both of Poplar Bluff, 1 granddaughter and 1 great grandson.

Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M., Monday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel. The funeral service will be at 12:00 noon, Tuesday at the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Paul Church officiating. Burial will be in the Sparkman Cemetery.
