Ann B. (Foust) Pennington

Ann B. Pennington, 89, of Poplar Bluff, MO, passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at Cedargate Healthcare.

Ann was born on December 23, 1933, to Clyde and Burdie (Woodruff) Foust in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. She married Charles Ray Pennington on August 20, 1955, also in Poplar Bluff.

Ann was a member of First Baptist Church. She was a long-time member of the Great Expectations Sunday School Class. She enjoyed gardening and making ceramic dolls. Ann was a very active senior. She participated in many bowling leagues in town into her 80s, including the State Senior Tournament. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Ann is survived by three sons, Kevin (Karen) Pennington, Terry (Debbie) Pennington, and Tim (Theresa) Pennington; seven grandchildren, January McKinney, Heather (DJ) Hochmuth, Ryan (Stephanie) Pennington, Brittany (Ben) Bridges, James (Angela) Drwenski, Steven Drwenski, and Katrina Cobb; 14 great-grandchildren, Grayson, Josie, Miller, Jude, Norah, Ellie, Addison, Makayla, Josh, Hayden, Courtney, Bentley, Jaxon, and McKenzie; two great-great-grandchildren, Atilea and Everett; brother-in-law, Paul (Karen) Pennington; sister-in-law, Barbara Baker.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents. husband, and one brother, Robert Foust.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2023, from 10:30am-Noon at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services. Funeral service will follow beginning at Noon with Pastor Brandon Spain officiating. Burial will take place at Memorial Gardens Cemetery where she will be laid to rest next to her husband, Ray.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
